What The Parents Say

Our Playrooms

Our playrooms are organised into 4 main rooms, taking into account the age and stage of the children. This includes our 6 weeks to 15/18 months room, our 15/18 months to 2 1/2 years room, our 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 and our 3 1/2 to 5 years room. This allows us to meet the individual needs of your child and maintain the adult to child ratio set by the Care Standards. All age groups have an appointed Senior Practitioner, a team of practitioners and support practitioners. Your child will have their own key worker allocated who will oversee their care and development.

Tiny Tots Room

The ratio within our playroom is 1 staff member for every 3 children in attendance.

Tweenies room

We have a mixed ratio within our playroom of 1 staff member for every 3 children and 1 staff member for every 5 children in attendance.

Toddlers Room

The ratio within our playroom is 1 staff member for every 5 children in attendance.

Mini Learners Room

The ratio within our playroom is 1 staff member for every 8 children in attendance.

Your Children

We endeavour to ensure that your child is at the forefront of everything that we do! We aim to provide your child with a varied range of experiences to build on their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Your child will have the opportunity to express their views and opinions and be involved in making decisions about their learning. An appointed key worker will work closely with your child as well as with you the parent to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved, and their learning and progress is tracked on our online Famly App, giving you the freedom to keep up to date with this on a regular basis.

Safety

We take the safety of the children in our care very seriously, starting with our secure door entry system that we have at both of our designated entrances.

Happiness

Ensuring that your child is happy and secure at nursery is paramount. To help us achieve this we provide the right level of transition between home and nursery, from room to room and from nursery to school. We strive to meet your child’s individual needs in a positive and nurturing manner, respecting their wants and desires. Staff are enthusiastic and motivated and provide a happy and relaxed atmosphere for your child to flourish in.

Education

Taking into account Local and National guidelines, staff focus on the individual education needs of your child, developing and building on the skills to prepare them for the next chapter of their learning journey. All learning is child-led which allows your child to learn and develop at a pace that takes into account their personal interests and experiences. Staff ensures that learning is stimulating and fun, encouraging your child to engage fully
