I am the Deputy Manager of Bright Starts Glasgow. I first qualified in 2015 at the age of 31, I hold qualifications in a BA in Childhood Studies, an HNC and NC as an Early years Practitioner. Having worked in 3 other nurseries where I started off as an Early Years practitioner, then moving up to senior and then Head oF room, before I took on my new role as Deputy. I have had a passion for childcare since my two nephews were born 13 years ago and I have not looked back since.
Before working in childcare, I gained qualifications in Beauty Therapy where I got a job working at Stobo castle and Make up Artistry. I used to work in the hospitality industry, retail industry, and finance industry before settling in the childcare industry. In my spare time I am currently still training my dog (16 months later) and spending time with my friends and family. I also like to participate in ghost hunts with one of my friends.
